The questions people run into most with NoviaHub: account and sign-in, API keys, addresses, models, balance and costs, streaming and reasoning.
Account and sign-in
Section titled “Account and sign-in”The Sign up tab is greyed out and can’t be clicked?
Section titled “The Sign up tab is greyed out and can’t be clicked?”If hovering over it shows Registration is closed, the site isn’t accepting new sign-ups at the moment. Existing accounts can sign in as usual. For account questions, email support@noviahub.com.
Forgot your password, or don’t want to type it?
Section titled “Forgot your password, or don’t want to type it?”The sign-in dialog has Forgot password?, which lets you reset your password with a code sent to your email. You can also click Sign in with email code to sign in directly with a code from your email. Email-code sign-in only works for accounts that already exist. See Signing in and your account.
API keys
Section titled “API keys”What if my API key leaks?
Section titled “What if my API key leaks?”Delete the key on the API Keys page straight away, create a new one, and replace the old key wherever you used it. Once deleted, the old key stops working immediately. Afterwards, filter Usage logs by Token Name to check for unexpected calls while it was exposed.
Can one key be used by several tools at once?
Section titled “Can one key be used by several tools at once?”Yes, but one key per tool is recommended. Then if one key has a problem you only need to disable that one, and the usage logs show how much each tool spent, key by key.
A call returns 401 Invalid token?
Section titled “A call returns 401 Invalid token?”NoviaHub didn’t recognise the key. Common causes:
- the key was copied incompletely, or has extra spaces or line breaks;
- the key is disabled, expired or exhausted (check its status on the API Keys page);
- the key is in the wrong header, for example
x-api-keyon/v1/chat/completions.

Addresses and protocols

Typical signs that it’s wrong:
/v1missing from the OpenAI address: you get a web page (HTML) and your program can’t parse JSON;- an extra
/v1on the Anthropic or Gemini address: 404Invalid URL.
Do model names need a vendor prefix like openai/gpt-...?
Section titled “Do model names need a vendor prefix like openai/gpt-...?”No. Use the model ID shown on Models & Pricing as it is, for example deepseek-v4-flash or claude-sonnet-5. There is a copy button next to the model ID on the model’s details page.
Models
Section titled “Models”A call returns 503 No available channel for model ...?
Section titled “A call returns 503 No available channel for model ...?”The most common cause is a wrong model name (case, hyphens, extra spaces). Copy the model ID from the model’s details page. If the name is right, the model has no working route at the moment; try again later or contact support.
Some models are missing when my tool fetches the model list?
Section titled “Some models are missing when my tool fetches the model list?”/v1/models returns only the models this key can use. If the key has Model Limits set, the list contains only the allowed models. Edit the key to change or clear Model Limits.
How do I make a model think longer, or not think at all?
Section titled “How do I make a model think longer, or not think at all?”Add a modifier to the model name, such as deepseek-v4-flash@effort:high or claude-sonnet-5@thinking:off, or use each protocol’s own reasoning parameters. See Reasoning and thinking.
Balance and costs
Section titled “Balance and costs”Where do I see my balance, and how do I top up?
Section titled “Where do I see my balance, and how do I top up?”On the Wallet page in the console. The balance is shown in US dollars ($). You can top up online (Stripe, Alipay, WeChat Pay or Heleket cryptocurrency) or redeem a code. See Wallet and top-ups.
Where do I see what each call cost?
Section titled “Where do I see what each call cost?”On the Usage Logs page in the console. Each row is one call, and the Cost column is what it cost. Click Details to see the prices, token counts and total. See Billing.
I still have balance, but I get 预扣费额度失败 (“pre-charge failed”)?
Section titled “I still have balance, but I get 预扣费额度失败 (“pre-charge failed”)?”Before a request starts, NoviaHub holds an estimated amount from your balance. If your balance is less than that amount, the request is refused with 403 and the message 预扣费额度失败, 用户剩余额度: …, 需要预扣费额度: …. Topping up fixes it. If the message is 用户额度不足 (“insufficient user quota”) instead, your balance is used up. See Billing.
Am I charged for failed requests?
Section titled “Am I charged for failed requests?”No. When the whole request fails, the pre-charge is returned in full.
Streaming and more
Section titled “Streaming and more”My stream ends with a chunk whose choices is empty, and my program breaks?
Section titled “My stream ends with a chunk whose choices is empty, and my program breaks?”That’s the usage data NoviaHub adds by default. Check for empty choices in your code, or add "stream_options": {"include_usage": false} to the request to turn it off. See Streaming.
Are tools like Claude Code, Codex and Cursor supported?

When you report a problem, include the request id from the error, when it happened and the model you called. Never send your API key.
